The solution:

This was a long and difficult project beginning with the creation of
my fictional skateboard manufacturing company. It wasn’t required
but I took it on myself to create the company image that would be
putting on the series of events. Fresh West Tour (FWT) is a fictional
skate tour held on the west coast. Therefor the design and color
palette is meant to reflect summer California weather (where most
of the events take place). I’m most proud of the Brute logo out of all
this work even though it turned out to be such a small piece of the
project. The Ape/Gorilla/Kong titles of the posters are meant to
reflect the main event sponsor’s likeness (Brute Skateboards).
